Questions parents ask
Is the plastic safe for children?
We print in PLA, a plant-based bioplastic made from corn starch; the filament we use is made without BPA or phthalates. Every print is solid, smooth and checked for sharp edges and loose small parts before it leaves us. Items with small parts are not suitable for children under 3 (choking hazard), and we recommend adult supervision for younger kids. PLA softens above about 55 °C, so keep toys out of the dishwasher and hot cars. We don't claim our prints are food-safe.
How strong are the toys?
Very. We print with extra wall thickness and infill for toys, so they handle drops, bending and enthusiastic play. If a toy is faulty or breaks in normal play within 6 months, we repair, replace or refund it, as the Consumer Protection Act requires.
Can I choose the colours?
Yes — pick from our palette in the basket, or tell us the colours you want. Many designs can be printed in several colours in one go.
How long does it take?
Most toys are ready within 2–3 days. Pudo and courier delivery adds about 2–4 working days. Large sets and bulk orders may take a little longer; we'll confirm a date when you order.
How do I pay?
Send your basket as an order request and we confirm the total in Rand, delivery included. Pay by PayShap or EFT to the details we send you, or ask for a secure card payment link; cash is fine when you collect in Potch. We start printing as soon as the payment reflects. No payment is taken on this website and we never ask for card details on WhatsApp. PrintPals is not VAT registered, so the price you see is the full price.
Do you deliver outside Potchefstroom?
Yes. Collect for free in Potch, or choose local delivery (R35). Anywhere else in South Africa we send it to your nearest Pudo locker from The Courier Guy (R60, usually 1–2 working days to Gauteng and 2–4 elsewhere) or by courier to your door (R110). Find your nearest locker at thecourierguy.co.za/store-locator, pick the option in your basket and tell us the locker name or your address; we send the tracking details as soon as it ships.
Can I cancel or return a toy?
Toys are printed to order in the colours you choose, so once printing has started we can't cancel or take them back on a change of mind. Faulty items are covered by the 6-month warranty above, and if something arrives damaged, send us a photo on WhatsApp within 7 days and we'll sort it out.

From talented independent designers on MakerWorld who share their work under open licences that allow printed copies to be sold. Every product page credits its designer.
